Trophies & Points

Trophies - Track & Field

Every athlete from each male and female age group will be awarded with a trophy for their efforts during the season. Athletes will receive one of the following trophies (in order of distribution); Age Group Champion (1st, 2nd or 3rd), PB Champion, Encouragement Award or Participation Award. Once an athlete is awarded a trophy they are no longer eligible for a subsequent trophy, therefore an athlete cannot receive multiple awards.

Age Group Champions (1st, 2nd & 3rd)

At the end of the season points are totalled and the three highest point scorers (1st, 2nd & 3rd) in each age group, male and female separately, are recognised and awarded as their respective age group's champions.

Personal Best (PB) Champion
Throughout the season athletes are awarded a 'PB Star' every time they better a previous best. At the end of the season the athlete in each age group, male and female separately, who has earned the most PBs is recognised and awarded their age group's PB Champion. Note: this award cannot be received by an Age Group Champion.

Encouragement Award
This award is determined by the Age Group Manager for each age group, male and female separately. It is typically awarded to an athlete who has shown a great display of dedication, commitment, perseverance, sportsmanship, encouragement and friendship throughout the season.
