Meet Your Coach
PAIGE ELVEY
Paige loves the social, physical and competitive aspect of the sport of athletics and is always keen to share it with those she coaches. As a fully qualified Level 2 Coach, she works with athletes of varied abilities, disciplines and sports.
Since the age of 9, Paige has been incredibly passionate about athletics, competing at Frankston Little Athletics Club and training at Ballam Park herself. She is still competing up to a national level in domestic competitions and recently represented Australia at the Oceania Championships and qualified for the World Junior Championships.
Paige predominantly competes in the 400m hurdles and 400m sprint, but will never say no to competing in other events for the club.
In 2024, Paige was awarded Emerging Coach of the Year at the Little Athletics Victoria awards night.
Coaching Clinics
Frankston Little Athletics Club also organises specialised Coaching Clinics during the course of the Track & Field season. These are offered to registered FLAC members and offered for a small cost. These clinics tend to focus on skills development in specific events (eg. Long Jump and Triple Jump).
Keep an eye out for information on these coaching clinics on the FLAC social pages or via email correspondence.
Specialised Coaching
Ballam Park also hosts several professional coaches who can provide further specialised coaching if required. These coaches are not part of the Little Athletics organisation and charge fees for their services. If your child is coached by a professional coach please check that they are a current member of the Australian Track and Field Coaches association and that they hold accreditation for the events they are coaching and are adequately insured.
