Centre Uniforms
All registered athletes are required to compete in the approved LAVic FLAC uniform whether they are competing at Centre competition on Saturdays or representing FLAC at Region or State competitions.
EVERY REGISTERED ATHLETE MUST WEAR THE CORRECT UNIFORM FOR COMPETITION
LAVic are especially strict about uniform requirements at Regional and State events so it's best to be prepared with the correct uniform at Centre level.
Competition Top
The centre competition top consists of either a singlet, t-short or crop top.
The Coles patch, which is a national membership requirement, is to be attached to the right-hand side (above the LA Vic logo) of the centre uniform. These badges are required to be sewn on.
Member Patch
The membership registration patch, as supplied to each registered member, must be worn on the front of the centre uniform at all Little Athletics competition days.
Shorts or Pants
Athletes can wear running shorts, longer casual shorts or bike shorts. They should be black in colour and should not have any pockets. Black leggings of any length can also be worn as an outer garment in all events except for race-walking.
Shorts or pants should not feature any brand logo larger than 4cm. This is especially relevant for Regional and State events.
Other Items
FLAC also has other uniform items available for purchase, including Hoodies, Spray Jackets and Club Shirts (for training days).
Please see our uniform shop in the pavilion on event days for uniform purchases.
Spikes
Spike shoes are only permitted to be worn in events listed in the table below. Spikes must not exceed 7mm for track events. Spikes must not exceed 9mm for high jump, long jump, tripe jump and javelin. Most venues, including Lakeside Stadium, do not allow needle/pin spikes.
Uniform Purchases
Uniform sales are available prior to the commencement of each track & field season. Check our social posts and email correspondence for relevant dates and times.
Alternatively, uniform sales will be available at the commencement of each meet for around 1 hour.
